John W. Omli, CAI, Broker, CEO

John Omli began selling farm real estate in central Kansas in February of 1978. His goal was to build a business through honesty and hard work, and to treat the customer like he would like to be treated. He attended Missouri Auction school in 1981 so he could also offer real estate at public auction. The first real estate property John listed to sell at auction, the client had machinery and household items to sell so they could move to town. Immediately John provided the full service to take care of his client’s needs.
During the past 30 years, Omli and Associates, Inc. has had a team of professionals to work with the wonderful people of central Kansas. We continue to sell not only farmland, but also farm equipment and all types of personal property.
John Omli is an active member of the Kansas Auctioneers Association (KAA) and the National Auctioneers Association (NAA). Both organizations provide quality education to help stay current with trends in the market place and knowledge to understand the demands of the continuing changes in technology. John also received his CAI (Certified Auctioneer) designation after completing extensive training with the Auction Marketing Institute.
Appraisals of farmland is another service that John W. Omli is able to provide. He has provided appraisals for local farmers, attorneys, banks and trust departments. John is a member of the Kansas Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers.

Larry's smile is also known from his Texas Red BBQ and catering business. He has two grown children who live in Kansas and is looking forward to making his permanent home in Salina.
